The JM435 is an upright metallurgical microscope for labs that need both reflected and transmitted light in one instrument. Reflected illumination handles opaque metal samples — coatings, weld cross-sections, PCB laminates — while transmitted illumination covers thin sections and transparent materials.
The 5-position coded nosepiece reports magnification to the imaging software and stores brightness settings per objective, so switching between 5× and 50× does not require re-adjusting exposure.
