We build optical microscopes under our customers' brands. If you distribute instruments, run a laboratory supply business, or need a configuration that does not exist in a catalogue, this is the route.
Yikmo assembles metallographic, biological, stereo, polarizing and fluorescence microscopes in Suzhou. Optical assembly, alignment, mechanical fitting and final inspection are done in our own workshop, which is why we can change a body colour, a stage, an objective set or a camera without redesigning the instrument.
OEM means we build our standard model with your name on it. ODM means we adapt the design to your specification — a different working distance, a larger stage, a camera bracket for your own camera, a modified control panel. Both are routine work for us; the difference is how far the design moves.
| Branding | Silkscreen or laser marking of your logo on the body, nosepiece cover and stage; your model naming. |
|---|---|
| Body colour | Standard white, black or grey; custom colours subject to a minimum batch. |
| Optics | Objective sets, eyepiece magnification and reticles, auxiliary lenses for working distance or magnification range. |
| Illumination | LED or halogen, ring / dual gooseneck / coaxial, colour temperature, dimming control, transmitted or reflected paths. |
| Stage and stand | Stage size and travel, glass insert, rotating stage, large-format base for wafers or PCBs, boom stands. |
| Camera and software | Our camera, your camera, or a C-mount port only. Software can carry your branding and your measurement routines. |
| Packaging | Carton printing, foam inserts, accessory layout, polywood cases for heavy instruments. |
| Documents | Manual, datasheet and label translations supplied by you or produced by us; CE-style declaration content agreed per order. |
| Power | 110 V or 220 V input, plug type per destination market. |
| 1. Requirement | You send the application, the target price and the market. We propose the closest standard platform and list what has to change. |
|---|---|
| 2. Specification | We confirm optics, mechanics, camera, packaging and marking in writing, with a drawing or a marked-up photo. |
| 3. Sample | One or two units are built to the agreed specification and shipped for your evaluation. |
| 4. Approval | You test the sample, we adjust, and the approved configuration becomes the reference for production. |
| 5. Production | Batch production with incoming inspection, optical alignment check and functional test on every unit. |
| 6. Shipping | Export packing, documents and shipping method agreed per order — sea, air or express. |
Both depend on the model and on how much of the instrument changes. A private-label version of a standard microscope needs a smaller batch than a modified body with a new stage and a custom camera bracket. Send us the specification and we will state the minimum quantity and the lead time in the quotation rather than in a general statement here.
Yes. Marking is applied to the body and the nosepiece cover, and we can print your model name instead of ours. Artwork in vector format is preferred.
Yes. We can ship the microscope with a standard C-mount port and the adapter that matches your sensor size, with no camera fitted.
We assemble and align the optical system and we specify the objectives and eyepieces for each configuration. Objective elements are sourced from optical suppliers and selected per application.
Yes. Send us the translated text and we will lay it out and print it, or supply the English source for you to translate.
Application, target price, quantity and destination market is enough for a first proposal. We reply within one business day.
